Cooking question, folks: how do you make a good meatloaf? What do you put in it? Do you have to mix it by hand? I tried to make one on Friday but was not impressed... and I promised my mother I would make her one (she has never had one, so...) Any idea?
My mother's meatloaf is equal parts ground beef, ground turkey, and ground pork. She says that it makes the meat tastier and juicier. She also bakes it in a pan with about a half cup of au jus gravy and sliced carrots, potatoes, and onion and garlic. I don't know how long she cooks it for but it's pretty tasty.
