Day 09 - Best scene ever
Let's face it, to pick just one scene is impossible, so let's just pick one scene that never fails to crack me up. Yes, it's from The West Wing again – let's face it, I've put several TWW videos in the past few days, and I love all those scenes, so here is a new one: remember Ainsley Hayes? I love her "conversation style" in this scene with Leo:
And because I couldn't find a video of it, it doesn't really count, but I love this little scene between C.J. and the President (greedydancer will know what I'm talking about):
Bartlet: Were we talking about something?
CJ: I don't know sir, when I came in here - back in the late 50's - there was a purpose to it but then one thing led to another and I blacked out. I mean, I can hang in there with the best of them, sir but somewhere during the conversation about anise and coriander and the other fifteen spices you like to use to baste a turkey I simply lost consciousness.
Bartlet: You know that line you're not supposed to cross with the President?
CJ: I'm coming up to it?
Bartlet: No, no, look behind you.
Yup, it was a ritual with my family actually - one of those shows around which the four of us would gather... Aaaah good memories. Now I want to watch it again - quick, to the library! *g*
I want to move to every village I see in the show, lol! There's always at least one house I'm drooling over.
I know, right?! Of course, each of those house could host a murderer, but still - crumpets and tea and stones and lovely gardens! Plus, now that I watch it in English (I used to watch it on French tv, dubbed in French), I have to say: hello British accents!
You'll have to go back to the book at some point if only to read Lisbeth's trial.
Alright, I'll put my name back on the holds list - I'll get it when I get it *g*
